One tooth, built to last — done right
SU Dental answers that wish with the greatest precision.
SU Dental's implants are different
A specialist surgeon
Your surgery is performed by our lead surgeon — trained in oral & maxillofacial surgery at Seoul National University Dental Hospital and a published author in SCI-indexed journals. With a precise, careful hand they analyse your bone and gum and design a result that stays stable for the long term.
Two premium implant systems
We use Korea's no.1 Osstem and the world's no.1 Straumann BLX top line, choosing the optimal system for your bone condition and case.
Digital-guided surgery
From 3D CT analysis we run a digital simulation before surgery and place the implant in exactly the planned position via a guide — minimising error and raising safety.
Surgery tailored to the case
Immediate placement
Extraction and implant placement in a single visit. It shortens treatment with no extra appointment, and Straumann BLX's high initial stability is a particular strength here.
Digital-guided implant
A precise virtual simulation before surgery from 3D CT data. A digital guide places the implant exactly as planned, minimising error and risk.
Complex implant cases
Don't give up on a case another clinic judged too difficult. We handle complex cases — those needing bone grafts, poor gum condition, or systemic conditions.
SU Dental's implant systems
Osstem
The most widely used implant in Korea, with abundant clinical data and high reliability.
Straumann BLX
The top line of Straumann, the world's no.1 implant brand from Switzerland. Roxolid® material and SLActive® surface give outstanding bonding to bone, shortening osseointegration to 3–4 weeks, with a proven 98.2% 10-year survival rate — and a particular strength in immediate-placement cases.

Frequently asked
- Is implant surgery very painful?
- It is done under local anaesthesia, so there is almost no pain during surgery. With a sleep implant you keep no memory of the procedure, for an even more comfortable experience. There may be some discomfort for 2–3 days afterwards, but most people have no trouble with daily life.
- Is a sleep implant safe?
- A sleep implant uses sedation, not general anaesthesia. We check your overall condition beforehand and prepare thoroughly for a safe procedure, monitoring vital signs continuously throughout.
- Can I still get an implant if I lack bone?
- Yes. If bone is insufficient, we can place the implant together with a bone graft, planning the optimal approach from a precise CT analysis.
- Can extraction and the implant be done the same day?
- Depending on the case, immediate placement is possible. When the bone and gum are suitable right after extraction, the implant can be placed the same day to shorten treatment.
- How long do implants last?
- With proper care and regular check-ups they can last for decades. Straumann BLX holds proven data of a 98.2% 10-year survival rate. Correct oral care and regular check-ups matter most for longevity.
- What's the recovery time after surgery?
- You can resume daily life the same day or the next. The final restoration takes about 2–6 months depending on your bone condition.
- Can I come from overseas for this?
- Yes. For international patients we can align the treatment plan and schedule in advance through an online pre-consultation. Where possible, immediate placement minimises the number of visits.
